Recent years, researches and applications of streaming data management are the most interesting because of strong development of sensor networks, wireless, location technologies in real world. Continuous queries are for end users to monitor result of the specific queries extracted directly from the streaming data in continuous and real time way. In this paper, we propose an efficient method to manage continuous queries for streaming data of mobile objects in GPS as well as Indoor positioning systems. Our idea is to use indices and in-memory data structures for objects, queries together in order to reduce cost of communication, updates on servers and battery burden of mobile device. But the method still supports the most types of queries as possibly. Our experiments show that the proposed method can be highly scalable in supporting location-based services in a wireless environment with large number of mobile devices.
