This study has been implemented to clarify the mediation relationship of parenting core competencies in terms of connection in conflicts between work and parenting and parenting stress. As for subjects of the study, there were 628 working moms with children aged from 2 to 5 that belonged to the companies located in the city of S. In order to identify the structural relationship of conflicts between work and parenting, parenting stress, and parenting core competencies, structural equation was created using AMOS18.0 on the collected data for verifying the model and estimating appropriateness and parameters of the model. As a result of the study, conflicts between work and parenting and parenting core competencies were turned out to directly influence on the parenting stress. In addition, conflicts between work and parenting were turned out to directly influence on parenting core competencies. Furthermore, conflicts between work and parenting were shown to indirectly influence on the parenting stress in the medium of parenting core competencies. Therefore, diverse types of support are needed to improve parenting core competencies while reducing conflicts between work and parenting through various programs in order to decrease the parenting stress of working moms.
