Abstract

A new method of approach is proposed on the segmentation based on boundary tracing edge detection type algorithm and was demonstrated on the task of detecting the femur in sagittal T1 weighted magnetic resonance images of the knee. Three filters were used to analyze the femur images and the results were compared
