Objectives: Using slots and notches on the radiating element of planar antenna structure to enhance its performance. Methods/Statistical Analysis: Parametric analysis to optimize design parameters. Findings: The proposed antenna covers WiMax Band (Worldwide interoperability for microwave access) (3.43-3.83 GHz) and C-Band (4.105-4.285 GHz) applications at resonant frequencies of 3.6 GHz and 4.1 GHz with measured return loss value of -28.4 dB and -22 dB with the corresponding bandwidth of 400 MHz and 180 MHz has been achieved with VSWR less than two. The analytical results agree well with simulated and measured results. Application/Improvements: WiMax Band and C-Band.
Keywords: C- Band, Dual Band, Patch Antenna, Shorting Pin, Wimax
