Objective: We need to find method to improve PCM of thermal or physical properties by using nano particles as heat transfer rate enhancers. Methods/Statistical Analysis: In this study, we tested the thermal properties like, thermal conductivity, Density, Latent heat, Temperatures of paraffin composites. For this experimentation such as DSC, SEM and KD2 PRO were used. Nano particles used are Al2 O3 and Cu O at different volume concentrations 0.1, 0.3 and 0.5 wt% to produce modified paraffin wax. Findings: Depends on our results, it may be fulfilled that the equipped PCMs can be regarded of use heat storage materials for some purpose in energy storage system. It can be resulted that by adding nano particles to improve melting points, pour points etc are improved in comparison with pure PCM. Heat capacity of nano composite is decreases with increase in nano particle concentration. Improvement/Applications: The nano particles can be used to get better physical properties of the nano composites and it’s applicable in construction materials, warm water, House heating, Catering, Temperature Peak Stabilization and Green House.
Keywords: Latent Heat, Nano Particles (Al2 O3 and CuO), Phase Change Materials (PCM), Thermal Properties, Thermal Storage Systems.
