Large Networking companies use high speed, secured IP/MPLS technology. The IP/MPLS based Transport Network supports emulating Layer 1, Layer 2 and Layer 3 services securely over the common network. This paper gives the insight to implementing a IP/MPLS Transport Network with various MPLS VPN services like Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPN (Full Mesh and Hub and Spoke) using GNS3 simulator. PRTG software was used as a Network Performance Management tool to measure various performance parameters. This technology can help service providers build networks with less network latency and improved link utilization for Ingress and Egress traffic. Keywords: GNS3, IP, Layer 2 VPN, L3VPN, MPLS, PRTG
