Quality Assurance of Teacher’s Pedagogical Techniques by Means of Information Technologies


Background/Objectives: Information technologies are abundantly used in today’s everyday life, as well as in the educational process. The task of the teacher is to support students in the learning process, not only in the educational organization. In the conditions of the educational process informatization, students must learn how to manage the flow of information, while the teacher shall be with them everywhere, including the various social networks that have recently become very popular. The teacher shall act as an adviser, moderator of students’ actions. In such circumstances, the role of educational technology increases; it goes beyond the school context and becomes important in the educational process carried out, for example, within the social networks. Methods: The paper describes the different approaches to the formation and improvement of the teacher’s pedagogical techniques on the basis of national and foreign literature. The authors have described the technology of pedagogical techniques improvement with the use of information technologies on the basis of self-correction by the teacher of his own pedagogical techniques. Technology tools consist of three authorial programs designed to: Register the opinion of students and other teachers; evaluate the assessment of teacher’s pedagogical techniques; study the trajectory of the teacher’s movement in the classroom. Findings: The authors have provided the proof of objectivity of the results and reliability of the study, as well as the proof of quality of the tool for self-correcting the pedagogical techniques by the teacher. The paper proves the effectiveness of the described technology. Application/ Improvements: This is a practice-oriented paper.
