This paper gives an account of the fungi collected from Shillong. Of these, Asteridiella phukanea, Asterina schimae, Meliola meghalayensis, M. shillongensis, Questieriella zanthoxyli, Sarcinella castanopsidis and S. lyoniae are the new species. While, Asterina indica, A. hakgalensis and Meliola rubiella are reported for the first time from the state of Meghalaya. The study indicates that North-Eastern region of India is a treasure of foliicolous fungi and its systematic study may bring out several undescribed new species.
