Abstract

Wireless sensor networks are exposed to several types of failures like link, node and malfunctioning of nodes. Wireless sensor network will be proficient if it is able to detect the faults and correct it, rather than removing it. This paper focuses on the various faults arising in wireless sensor network and a survey based on it. Once the fault has been corrected, the faulty condition of the wireless sensor network can be enhanced with the fault tolerant ability.
