Fractal antennas consisting of self similarity structure and they mainly used for the purpose of multiband characteristics. In this paper a compact novel folded-slot Koch fractal antenna is designed to operate at multiband for the communication system applications. Ansys HFSS tool is used to design and simulate the current model and FR4 substrate is used to prototype the designed antenna model. In the functional verification, simple folded slot antenna is resonating at dual band and the subsequent iterations are producing triple band characteristics. The fabricated Koch fractal antenna is producing good radiation characteristics with average gain of more than 4 dB at the corresponding resonant frequencies. Measured and simulated results are in good agreement with each other corresponding to return loss, VSWR and impedance.
