Magnesium alloy-Calcium Phosphate (ZK30-Ca3 (PO4 )2 ) has received considerable attention as an emerging biodegradable implant material in orthopedic fixation applications. From the past study, it had observed that steel and titanium alloy is used as bone plate, This have lack in ductility, shock observing capacity. Thus to overcome this defect, it is proposed to develop a new magnesium composite by powder metallurgy process which can be used as bone plate. ZK30 could be a promising material for biodegradable orthopedic implants and worth further investigation to evaluate its in vitro and in vivo degradation behaviour, it has shown better hardness properties
