Background/Objectives: In this paper, high voltage gain for a dc-dc converter is achieved by keeping duty cycle fixed. Methods/Statistical analysis: Here converter achieves the high voltage gain by keeping duty cycle fixed and simulation work is carried out in Matlab/Simulink environment. Findings: By using high frequency transformer and by using passive clamp networks such as diodes and capacitors high voltage gain for a dc-dc converter is achieved. Applications: It can be used in any low voltage source application such as PV, fuel cell etc.
